Presa del palazzo di Broletto. (Seizing of the Broletto Palace). A palace already invaded by armed men, while squads of troops led by horsemen come in from every direction. A cannon is aimed against the palace. At the bottom, J. S. F. (Josephus-Joseph Salwirck made it.
R. Epoca della liberta bresiana (Era of liberty for Bressia)). In a laurel wreath, a liberty cap and a dagger, below which is read: 18 marzo 1797 (18 March 1797).
